More than trailer lights
The vehicle needs to know when a trailer is attached.
On many modern cars, correct integration can change parking-sensor behaviour, rear fog-light operation, camera views, stability control and bulb monitoring. We use dedicated electrics where the vehicle and kit support them.

Specify the use first
A bike carrier, small trailer and caravan do not need the same package.
We confirm the vehicle, towing requirement, connector, removable or fixed preference and any cycle-carrier needs before ordering the equipment. That prevents an unsuitable bar or incomplete electrical specification.

01Do modern cars need towbar coding?+
Many do. Coding and dedicated modules allow the car to recognise the trailer and manage connected systems correctly. We confirm the requirement from the exact vehicle specification.
02Should I choose 7-pin or 13-pin electrics?+
Seven-pin normally covers basic trailer road lights. Thirteen-pin is the modern standard for caravans and supports additional circuits. Tell us what you plan to connect and we will specify the correct option.
03Can you fit a detachable towbar?+
Yes where an appropriate system is available. We will explain how visible the installation is when removed and whether the bumper requires a visible or non-visible cut.
04Can a towbar be used with a bike carrier?+
Often, but the carrier, bar type, socket position and vehicle limits must be compatible. Include the intended carrier or number of bikes in your enquiry.
