Keep or replace the factory system
A factory-screen interface can preserve the original display and controls. On other vehicles, a replacement head unit or vehicle-specific screen is the cleaner solution. We compare what is retained, how audio is routed and which cameras or settings must continue working before recommending either path.
BMW native CarPlay
Some BMW systems can run factory CarPlay after a compatibility check, coding and any required Wi-Fi aerial work. Where the hardware is not suitable, we will not present an interface or replacement display as the same thing—we explain the differences and quote the right route.
