Reliable battery, charging, solar and inverter systems for cars, camper vans, 4x4s and working vehicles.

Victron-based power architecturePower architecture
Good off-grid power is not a collection of boxes. Storage, charging, conversion and protection must be designed around the way you actually use the vehicle.
A properly sized auxiliary battery bank gives your fridge, lighting, pumps and accessories dependable energy without risking the starter battery.
DC-DC charging manages energy from the alternator and is suited to modern smart-alternator vehicles. Traditional split charging is used only where appropriate.
A pure sine-wave inverter provides 230/240V mains-style power. Inverter-chargers can also manage hook-up or shore power as part of one integrated system.
Roof-mounted or portable solar keeps the battery working between drives, using MPPT control to make the best of changing daylight.
Victron-based systems
We normally build around Victron Energy equipment because it gives us a broad, connected system rather than isolated components. The exact models are selected after a load and charging assessment.

Intelligent DC-DC charging for a second battery, including vehicles with smart alternators. Output and charge behaviour are configured around the battery chemistry and system.
Dual battery · DC-DC · Configurable
Pure sine-wave inverter power and battery charging in one unit, with intelligent management of hook-up or shore power for more capable touring systems.
230/240V power · Hook-up · PowerAssist
Efficient solar charging with system monitoring and a charge profile selected for the battery. Suitable for fixed roof panels and many portable-panel layouts.
MPPT · Monitoring · Battery care
Conventional MEGA, MIDI or ANL fuse holders and covered busbars create a neat, familiar distribution point that is easy to inspect, label and service.
Individual fuses · Covered busbars · ServiceableElectrical safety
A battery can release enormous current into a fault. Correct cable size, termination, routing and circuit protection are fundamental—not optional extras hidden behind the trim.
Protection is calculated from the load, cable capacity, route and system voltage. Exact fuse values are specified for each installation.Built around the application
Cool boxes, auxiliary lighting, communications, USB-C charging and in-car work equipment—supported by a properly managed second battery.
Fridges, lighting, water pumps, USB-C, induction, coffee machines and mains sockets—balanced against the space, weight and time available to recharge.

How we design it
We list what you need to run, how much it draws and how long it needs to operate away from mains power.
Driving time, solar potential, hook-up access and seasonal use tell us how the battery can be replenished.
Battery capacity, charging, inverter power, cable routes and protection are designed as one complete architecture.
We mount, terminate, label, configure and test the system, then explain how to use and monitor it.
