Why you will not see the installation
We do not publish
security hardware or installation locations.
Showing a security product, fitting position, wiring route or configuration could help someone recognise or target it. We therefore show completed vehicles and owner handovers, but never security-critical installation details. You still receive a clear handover and practical aftercare.

About subscriptions
The monitoring subscription is managed by the provider and is separate from our installation price. Monthly figures shown are the current standard guide; provider terms, VAT treatment, product availability and pricing can change, so we reconfirm them before booking. Annual and longer-term plans may also be available.

01What is the difference between S7 and S5?+
S7 is a monitored tracking and recovery category. S5 adds driver recognition, so the control centre can identify when the vehicle is moving without an authorised driver credential. Your insurer may specify the category it requires.
02Is there a subscription?+
Yes. Monitored SmarTrack systems need an active provider subscription for the control centre, app and associated tracking services. We show the current monthly guide separately from our supplied-and-installed planning price and confirm it when quoting.
03Should I have both a Ghost and a tracker?+
They perform different jobs. A Ghost-style immobiliser is intended to prevent unauthorised driving; a monitored tracker supports detection and recovery. For many higher-risk vehicles, layering the two makes more sense than expecting one device to do everything.
04Will my insurer accept it?+
Only your insurer can confirm its exact requirement. Send us the wording from your policy or quotation and we will help match it to the appropriate current Thatcham category and product.
05Can you show me where the system is fitted?+
We explain how to use and look after your system, but we do not publish installation positions, wiring routes or security-critical configuration. That discretion is part of the installation.
06Can you fit remote start?+
Yes, on suitable vehicles. Transmission type, factory immobiliser, starting logic and how the vehicle is parked all affect whether remote start is appropriate. We assess the exact vehicle and safe operating route before quoting.
07Will it work with my vehicle?+
Compatibility depends on exact vehicle specification and sometimes the insurer requirement. Send the registration or VIN before booking and we will check the current system and installation route.
